Rental Policies & FAQ

Rental Period

Minimum - 2 hours, 4 hours, 1 or 2 days depending on equipment

Day Rate - 24 hours

Week Rate - 7 consecutive days to the same time

4 Week Rate - 4 consecutive weeks to the same time

NOTE: RENT CHARGED FOR ALL TIME OUT. For you to get the best value for your money, return all items on or before the date and time DUE IN on your rental contract.

Identification

A valid MN driver’s license is required for ALL rentals. Out of state driver’s licenses may require additional sources of identification.

Payment

Required at the time rental item is picked up. Payment by credit card may be required (excluding open account customers). We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express. We are equipped for Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Samsung Pay. Although debits cards may be used for payment, they may not be used for rentals requiring a credit card deposit.

Deposit

Deposits may be required at the time a reservation is placed. Deposits on party rental reservations are non-refundable if the reservation is voided out.

Metered Items

Rates for rental items equipped with hour meters are based on 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, and 160 hours per month. Additional usage will be charged accordingly.

Damage Waiver

A percentage of the rental rate will automatically be charged for damage waiver unless declined on the rental contract at the time of pick-up. The damage waiver is 10%. If a customer wishes to decline the damage waiver they must provide us with a Certificate of Insurance issued by their insurance company naming us as a loss payee for any rental equipment loss, theft, or damage. Coverage must be in a sufficient amount to fully cover items rented. The certificate must be in our possession PRIOR to rental. The damage waiver is not refundable.

Pricing

Prices are subject to change. Please call for price quotes. All rental charges are for time out, whether used or not. If you encounter any operational problems, call Crown Rental immediately. No credits or adjustments will be made unless we are notified as soon as the problem is encountered.

Delivery and Pick-up

Delivery and pickup are available at reasonable rates. Please call for the charge to your specific location. All rental items should be gathered in a single location convenient for pickup. If you prefer, you may pick up and return your rental items to one of our locations.

Responsibility

Responsibility for rental items remains with the customer from delivery to return. All items should be secured and protected from the weather. Additional charges for replacements are made for missing or damaged items.
